Carrot Savoury porridge

I love porridge of a weekend and love to change and experiment with recipes. I often will make a ‘carroty’ cake smoothie and so thought I would take a leaf from the beautiful Naturally Sassy and add it to my porridge and it was delicious! Here is my twist on the recipe:

Instructions
  1. Place the oats, chia seeds, grated carrot, ginger, milk, cinnamon in a pan, bring to the boil and simmer until thickened
  2. Stir and add the salt and mashed banana, pour into a bowl and top with sliced avocado and coconut flakes
