Banna’s date delights

These were inspired from the natural bars on sale in health shops and supermarkets. A student of

mine started to make these herself as her break time snack. There are a number of options with

these and it is good to experiment. Dates are a fantastic natural sweetener with many health

benefits, however be careful to not over consume them as they are particularly high in fructose.

100g dates

50g cashews


Blitz these together in a food processor then shape into round balls. Keep in the fridge for up to 5


options: 80g ground almonds, 50g almonds, add raw cacao, dried apricots and or oats
